Start spreading the news!

So whats up lately?

Everybody is preparing for THE American day of the year: Thanksgiving. Mary Ann, my colleague, invited me to go over to her place and celebrate Thanksgiving the typical American style with her family. So we will be are eating turkey tomorrow. Hope to have some great photo's of that tomorrow. :-)

My new mobile phone has arrived. I ordered a $10 prepaid phone including $10 talk time and the phone is not bad either (Nokia 2610)! So my mobile number +1 (302) 290 3321 is now working. You can call me from the Netherlands on this phone for 1 cent. Unfortunately AT&T also charges me for incoming calls! So I will have to pay 25 dollar cents per minute.

Mobile phones are not allowed to use in the office, so it is better to try me at my desk if you need to speak to me. Can you imagine how quiet it is, when not everyone is running around with their mobile phones...? Perhaps an idea for the Netherlands too!!!

I have also made my plans for the weekend: New York. I am going to take the so called "Chinese bus" which goes from Chinatown to Chinatown for $35 return to New York (2.5 hours). I will be staying at Club Quarters Downtown. Due to a glitch in the system I booked the room for $5 a night. Off course this was a mistake, but they were willing to give me the room for $100 (normal price $265!). Lucky me! It is in downtown NY, near Ground zero and very luxurious. Saturday morning I will take the Sopranos Tour. Maybe you have heard me talk about this in the Netherlands. It will take me along the sites where they filmed the television series. I have booked tickets to take the ferry to the statue of Liberty on Sunday morning. So, a full program ahead!

Next week I will go to LA for some days (Wednesday - Saturday) to see Mary Ann deliver some sessions and to meet some of my new colleagues. Vey much looking forward to that too!!
