Certified facilitator!

Wow! What a great team we have here! Together with the other trainers Kim, Shane, Mary Ann, Erin and Karla (who has same role as me in the Minnesota office), we went through a three day facilitation skills training course by DDI. it was really great working with everyone and so much fun!!! The slogan of these days: "This is how we do it!".

I am still amazed that I am still awake and am not falling asleep right now. The facilitation skills course was very intensive and after a day of hard work we had to prepare a 40 minute session to deliver on the next day. This preparation in general took 2-3 hours.

I woke up at 5 AM on Thursday morning to prepare my session for that day, because the night before we went out to have dinner in one of the best steakhouses of Philadelphia, Ruth's Chris Steak House (Kim's husband is the general manager there, so we got very exclusive service!). I got home after 11 PM, exhausted and immediately fell asleep.

Somehow the energy that is flowing around here is magic and keeps me up and running without even yawning. Or might it be the sushi we ate at Mikimoto's last night? :-) That was sooo good!!!
The food in general is good, but it also means that I really have to be careful not to eat too much. Until we get overloaded with food. the trick is to find something healthy and eat less. The double cheese burger (here they call that a 'regular') does not fall into that category I guess.

PS> As you can see I have switched writing in English. I am thinking in English now, so it would be more difficult to write in Dutch than in English and this also gives my international friends the opportunity to read my stories.

PS> It is going quite well with my back. So far things a re going good and I don't expect any difficulties, although I have to be careful.
