Today was a long driving day (7 hours of driving). We took the scenic route but still we could not avoid taking a quick nap in the car. We entered New Mexico and before going to our motel in Espanola, we
visited the sanctuary in Chimayo which is seen as the "Lourdes of the
US". In a little room in the back of the church there is a whole in the floor with dirt that is considered to have healing power.
